Before cultivating Shatavari or Satavar (Nepali yellow) one should understand the statistics of expenditure and income in cultivating. Due to being a multi - year crop, the cost of cultivating Shatavari is higher than that of the grain crop, but at the same time the profits are also multi-fold. Now a days, where there is no savings in grain like paddy and wheat crops, there ia manifold profit in the crop of Satavar.
